Dr. McCarthy is a board-certified dermatologist who earned his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He served as a physician in the United States Air Force and Air National Guard, where he completed his dermatology residency. In 2021, he returned to North Carolina with his family and is proud to call the Piedmont Triad home. He practiced in Greensboro before opening Carolina Piedmont Dermatology in Asheboro in 2026.
